Site Description

The San Acacia, NM site (ALF) was established in October 2006 and was originally funded by the New Mexico House Bill 2 and the EPSCOR project. The site’s tripod has greater than 1 km fetch. The site’s actual location is 34°14'27.78"N and 106°54'17.08"W at an elevation of 1417.7m above sea level. This site has been decommissioned pending further funding.

Vegetation

The San Acacia, NM site is an agricultural site’s. This site’s main vegetation is laser-leveled alfalfa(Medicago sativa).

Hydrologic Status

This site is regularly irrigated.
